The Hyper Taping™ shoes feature a combination of smooth and ribbed leather panels alongside glossy synthetic leather overlays and textured mesh underlays. A criss-cross hook and loop closure is integrated into the Asics stripes logo on the sides. The design incorporates a low-profile tooling system and a modified sockliner.:
